The initial 2-week schedule has been released on the official Twitter account of the IPL. The first match will be played on Saturday 23rd March in the Chennai hosted by defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

All matches of this T20 league will start every time from 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. The first match will be held between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai on March 23 this year. After this, two matches will be played on March 24. In the first match at 4 o’clock in the evening, the Kolkata team will face Hyderabad. After this, the three-time champions Mumbai in the second match will be competing with the Delhi Capitals (old name Delhi Daredevils). On March 25, only one match will be played in Rajasthan between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab.
Chennai’s challenge will be in front of Delhi team in the 5th match of IPL on 26th March. On March 27, Kolkata and Punjab teams will face face-to-face in Kolkata. According to the schedule so far, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Jaipur, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mohali will be played against the IPL in the host. On March 28, RCB and Mumbai will compete against Bengaluru, while on March 29, Sunrisers will be up against the pre-tournament champions Rajasthan Royals in Hyderabad.
